Male yeast infections?

I'm not really sure if I may have a yeast infection. My girlfriend got one several months ago, but it appeared as a rash on the inside of her groin. Since taking yeast infection medication it went away. We had sex again after having not since the infection appeared. Now it's the next day and she has it again. I am wondering if it is possible for me to have one, and I keep spreading it to her? I'm just not sure if this is possible and I should take medications for it.
